Therapist reacts to Dragula by Rob Zombie

His songs are a lot about muscle cars and also dragula is the car that The Munsters drove the dragula Plus this song was playing in the first Matrix when Keanu met Trinity

If youve ever watched the original Matrix movie, you’ve heard this song. It was playing at the club where Neo met Trinity for the first time.

Rob is a huge fan of the horror genre, and more specific, the older horror movies. He also loves the older TV shows such as The Munsters. I believe the car he drives in this video is an homage to that very car that Herman Munster drove in the show. And nevermind you just said that you knew that.

My apologies, my lyrics were pretty dark.
Iliked the Munsters, not really anything to do with them or Dragula.
The lyrics were a response to some dudes with tudes :joy:

Rob has some fun stuff! Please don’t exclude songs from when he was a part of White Zombie. This was obviously prior to his Rob Zombie days, but the music is just as good.
For example, you could check out “Thunder Kiss ‘65”. Great stuff! Thank you for your positivity

Marilyn Manson please…

If you are going to try to break down and make sense of Rob Zombie’s lyrics, I will laugh along for the ride!
His lyrics are so bizarre and abstract and honestly, I would love to see him speaking on how he puts them together, because they are so odd. I used to freak out my more straight-edge, non-metalhead friends in high school by just deadpan reciting Zombie’s lyrics as if it were a normal conversation. There is nothing funnier that looking someone dead in the eye and saying, “Living fast and dying young, like an endless poetry. My motor-psycho nightmare freak out inside of me. My soul salvation, liberation on the drive. The power of the blaster, move me faster.” Then just giving them a nod like you got your point across and going back to whatever you were doing.
And the thing is, it works with just about any of his lyrics through the years. Some are more coherent than others, but they really are like acid trip fever dreams.

Try watching the video with the old 3d glasses it will freak you out

First time I ever heard this song and ever heard of it was in the first Matrix film lol

RZ sucks balls :face_vomiting::face_vomiting:

Art moves people. The artist has their own meaning behind what they do. But once it’s unleashed on the public it becomes something else entirely.

I have his birthday…

This was always my first song to perform during any karaoke night. It gave me a feel for the audience I had to deal with.

Zombie is a horror movie fanatic that’s why he did House of 1000 Corpses, Devil’s Rejects, Fridays the 13Th. You can see a young lady ina Russian hat in the video. That’s his wife Sherrie Moon Zombie who started as his dancer and then became his muse and was in all but a couple of his movies.

Comparing Zombie to Beetlejuice? Really? How old is this kid?

That opening movie clip is from the 1920 “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. It’s a good version of the story with some good effects.

The big robot is from “The Phantom Creeps”, a not so good serial with Bela Legosi.

the definition of insanity is skateboarding

If you’d like a great song to really analyse, with a beautiful video, try The Darkness Within by Machine Head. It’s kinda about how music saves our lives  Pretty relevant.

❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥…

Not only a great performer but a pretty good director for movies. Check out his version of Halloween. He actually got permission to do the movie from the director of the original. It’s really good.

Awesome song and video…
