Please react to “Battling my Demons,” by Jeris Johnson.
I have loved your deep dive into Slipknot. I am not sure if you take requests, but I would absolutely love to have you break down Alice In Chains. Layne Staley is my favorite singer ever.
Definitely need to check out killpop and. The devil and i
I do like this song, and overall have more positive feelings about the album than negative, but the end of the song always takes me out because it is note for note, fret for fret, the exact same breakdown copy and pasted from Sulfur. And that always just takes me right out of the Hive Mind lol.
I’m probably about 5-10 videos in of your sessions. Watched some of the Metallica reviews before Slipknot and have been equally impressed by your assessments of the lyrics that I, in 40+ years, have not tried to fully comprehend. Hindsight, and almost 7 of 24 years in combat and imminent danger environments, enables many to see, or understand, things that we didn’t previously. You have a good understanding that I wish I had earlier. Thank you
You need to watch From can to can’t by Corey Taylor you will enjoy it I promise you please
You need to do Orphan. It’s so heavy and dark lyrics.
@HeartSupport
Type O Negative - Anesthesia, World Coming Down
Dimmu Borgir - Gateways, Progeny of the Great Apocalypse, Serpentine Offering
Dreadful Shadows - Chains, Everlasting Words, Dusk
Evergrey - Blinded, I’m Sorry, Master Plan, A Touch of Blessing
Do those…
Please do whitechapel without you/without us !
I’m a big metalhead. I’ve listened to all sorts of metal and have been a fan for 25 years. I absolutely love your commentary and synopsis of each song you do. I’ve watched all the slipknot ones you’ve done.
can you do slipknot’s killpop?
6:03 bless you …
Yeah, this music video seems a bit much. But, I think the point of the video is to be kinda disgusted by it, because if you enjoy the content of it, then you’re proving the point of the song and showing yourself as part of the hive mind that is ok with the suffering.
So, it’s calling out it’s own audience. Just a thought.
@heartsupport I’m curious what you would have to say about “Burn” and “No River to Take Me Home” by Neurosis and “Drapery Falls” by Opeth.
Break down Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium and Killswitchengage
I felt so much times im in the hive and when i had a unique idea that went against the group, i was crucified, bcs of the safety of the hive. I think it’s a super bad concept, but the only ones who know or see it are those who have been on the wrong side.
This woman’s facial expressions are so endearing. Also, great analysis. Missed a golden opportunity to smoothly segway the last couple minutes into a request to subscribe…
do Parkway Drive Wishing Wells
Instructions unclear: I jumped into a beehive and I was not accepted
A hive needs a Beekeeper (Jason Statham reference) for the benefit of the whole.
