Therapist analyzes the lyrics to Know Your Enemy by Rage Against the Machine. There is so much value in knowing our enemies. For Rage Against the Machine, the enemy is the elite. In our mental health journey, the elites in our life are often our beliefs. These beliefs quietly control us and our experience. The first step is knowing what we are fighting

Great breakdown!

Maynard, from Tool, has drifted to the opposite side of Rage Against the Machine. Personally, I’m offended. I grew up in the 90’s , with both bands. I doubt that you will ever see or hear them working together again.
RATM forever

Know Your Enemy…

Great music. Sad communist message.

You can really tell by her facial expression this girl is FEELING the music! That’s some real stank face!

I think the first time we listen to a song is better with the studio version, but well, live concerts by RATM are great.

All of them is simply great, and Know your enemy, for me, is in a top 10 by them for sure.

We don’t NEED THE key, WE’LL Break IT. LOVE RAGE

:love_you_gesture:t2::love_you_gesture:t2::sunglasses::love_you_gesture:t2::love_you_gesture:t2: #northernmaine USA :us::heart: :love_you_gesture:t2::love_you_gesture:t2::love_you_gesture:t2:

First of all you are adorable and your consciousness vibration is on a higher level. You can tell you are an old soul. Secondly RATM was the shit in the 90’s but now seem to be a part of the elite system that they used to rage against. Third I graduated from the same High School as Maynard. Fourth keep doing what you’re doing your reaction vids are outstanding. Much love.

Excellent videos. Love the content. Please take care of yourself though! You aren’t a slave tovyour schedule! Take a break when you need to! This is for anyone reading this

All of which are American dreams

15 yrs ago !!! Wow this song is as relevant today as it ever was

Aww! This is the CRAPPY live where Zak does Maynard’s bridge. There’s a few “lives” where they actually have MJK there. Those are the ones that you want to react to. Not Zak’s deadpan reading of it. I hate it when I see this is the video reactor’s react to.

Need some :cactus:back there. Snake plant needs new company. I’d give you enough plants to make it look like a jungle in there, but I get lost getting to NYC really easy :v::grin:

I know personally that externalizing my anger instead of turning it inside against myself has helped me deal with depression It fits with my political and theological understanding of the world, that class conflict between conflicting class interests is a war we are all born into and unavoidable, that the rule of the rich is the rule of the Biblical wicked - the rule of the worst - and it’s the reason why Jesus proclaimed the arrival of the kingdom of God on earth, because the human earthly order isn’t God’s will, and needs to be overthrown so that we little people can have nice things and nature can thrive.

We have anger about injustice, and grief about the historical defeat of the working class and socialism, and those are correct feelings about reality, and not a pathology or our personal fault or abnormal at all, but things we should recognise in each other and organise to do something about, collectively and politically, and that to paraphrase Marx, it’s only by changing the world that we can cure ourselves, because it’s the system which is insane and psychologically toxic.

Who would have ever thought Rage
would turn For The Machine?

Maybe I’m the only person who shares this opinion, but I respectfully request that you react to studio productions, prior to the live renditions. The reason? I want to see you experience the same version of the song that we all did back in the day. Prime example, missing out on Maynard’s contribution to the song, which is absolutely epic. Thank you.
