Therapist reacts to Staind - It's Been A While

happy song by bring me the horizon

Junkhead dirt nutshell of alice in chains

Different reaction for me. I related to this song a lot at the end of my marriage. Just before my wife left me for an other woman. It took me going to therapy to realize the reason I felt like this was I was being told over and over how I was screwing up and making everything worse and everything was my fault by my ex. My therapist was great & got me to realize it was not my fault. She also taught me some new words like narcissistic and sociopath. Was angry at first but later realized this was her core and she was just her.

There is no question in my mind as a medical professional that you have no clue what you’re fucking talking about.

You make me cry…

This song is my child hood singing it loud and proud.

Listen to Epiphany by Staind. It is his song about his battle with ADD as well as his mental struggles

I used to love this song but it’s still relatable. My problem is my selfishness. I know I’m selfish and I’ve worked on it for years. I’ve made some progress but I think I have to just face the fact that I’ll just be a pos forever. Most of the people in my life, I’ve pushed far enough away that I’ll never see or talk to them. That’s fine, i still have a couple of people. I just don’t like how things turned out & what I truly am.

Been living this song for over a year now

Great video, great song. I really appreciate your take on this. But I came here to say the glass block shelf is going to crash. Too much weight on the support frame. It looks cool, but I would seriously recommend removing at least 30% of the weight.

Ok thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

You should look onto Falling In Reverse. “Popular Monster”, “Voices in My Head” are two songs by them insanely up your alley. The lead singer is a bit controversial to some for his past, but the message of the songs alone are really great.

I sure wish I could find a friend like her just to talk to.

Nowadays he got really into far right exclusionary beliefs and things like antivax, I wonder if it’s all tied together to the way we all struggle to cope with our mental well-being
