So, for those not aware, I’ve been away from home, but not entirely by choice.
My home was found to have a major mold problem. I live with family, my mom in particular, and she’s been sick for 2 years. It took that long, many doctor visits, for one to finally say “have you had your house checked for mold?”
We ARE going home, on Tuesday, but it’s nowhere near finished, it’s finished enough. We’re tired of staying elsewhere. It is expensive. The AirBNB to be honest is far worse than the hotel where we stayed. The only good thing is we haven’t had to take the dog downstairs just so she can go outside. An upside to this, since there is only one floor, and being without her doggy door, my sweet dachshund Liberty has finally figured out how to start telling us when she needs to go out.
I’m ok, I’m glad to be going home. I just wish I could take all of this stress from my mom. Thank you all always for your support. I’ll be back to writing my own replies as soon as things start to settle down again.
