This song matches how much I feel these days dealing with crippling anxiety, depression, and PTSD. It makes me feel less alone because most of the time when I reach out to tell people how I’m coping or trying to cope they don’t listen or understand the pain because they haven’t went through it their selves so they just call me weak
Hey my friend. I am so incredibly sorry that you’ve been invalidated in this way - that your experience has been put on you as if this is something you’ve asked for. I belive you, and I believe in you | Loom
Thank you for sharing and being so open. Take your time and take care of yourself. Relating to music can be so powerful - I feel you and you are certainly not weak for navigating these struggles.
The strength it takes to write a comment like this and reach out is the complete opposite of weak my friend! There’s so much pressure to cope or to “fix things” when feeling this way. Be gentle with yourself and show yourself the kindness you deserve. There is hope on the other side and there are people rooting for you!
Thank you for sharing. I know that a lot of people out there are going to resonate with you as well. Music is so incredibly powerful, and Im so happy that you found this song. Please keep it jammin! I also want you to know that you are not alone. We are here for you at Heart Support. We are here to hear you out. And to support you. You showed a lot of courage by sharing with us here. Please remember that.
Sometimes I think you need a friend. You have a big heart for sharing what you are going through with others. Even if others may not know what you are going through or relate, I think just the response of “Hey I have not been through this myself but I am always here for you” is sometimes the best way to go about it (and I am also saying this directly to you because you are not weak for trying to open up. Your feelings are 100% valid). So I hope that whatever you are going through right now, you give yourself some grace and you also surround yourself with people who value you and the strength you have to be honest. Take care and be kind to yourself, you are so strong.
