3 years ago, I moved to a new place. I didn’t have any friends in the area. But I went to a church alone and within a few weeks, was able to build some friendships.
I am not sure if you’re religious but that is something I did. You can also check to see if there are meetups around a specific interest in your area on Facebook or other event sites. It may seem a bit scary at first but just know that there will be people that will have open arms to welcome you and chat with you. I believe in you and you can do it!
