Its lyrics reflect the struggle of feeling trapped in pain and hopelessness, unable to break free. But, just as even the hardest nutshell can crack open over time, we can start to break free from these cycles with small, intentional steps. The journey might feel overwhelming if we look at the entire problem all at once, making it easy to feel like there’s no way out. But by focusing on the next small step we can take, no matter how small it seems, we can begin to chip away at the walls that hold us back. He sacrificed himself for the rest of us out here. With so much, yet still so alone. A hole in you that can’t be filled except with this kindve emotion. Thanks Layne

Me every time I listen to this song after ripping the bong.

:pleading_face::pleading_face: In this song I feel warmth and a loneliness… Beautiful and very sad at the same time…

So good==================

Absolutely one of the best acoustic performances i have ever watched!

This song tells the story of the songwriter’s monsters and the devastating outcome that followed. I cry every time I listen to it for Layne.

I miss Layne even if I never now him in person, I wanna hug him too

And yet I fight, and yet I fight
This battle all alone
No one to cry to
No place to call home

This song isn’t a cry for help, it’s his journal entry. Fooking love you for this Layne! Rest in peace sir!

Please do the Death empress,

I love your reviews. This time in music growing up as a teen into my 20’s was magical.

Feel better dead… not there :roll_eyes:

So have you been living under a rock, cause these jams have been out for a few decades

These lyrics had me questioning if I was sing it wrong this whole time but it is “I’d feel better dead”.

Dead" man, not there, Who translate this? Beavis?

Layne is forever missed . Rest in peace

Just a song==============

We ALL did. #riplaynestaley :people_hugging:

This is the song of a generation that lives rent free in our heads
