it shocked me the first time i seen it too. i was in shock
- For democracy, any man would give his only begotten son.
- Wow…
I always love it with these react things when the metal guy hasn’t heard something as fundamental as ‘one by metallica’.
Helicopter sounds in the intro is anachronistic. WWI had no helicopters. But I love the song since I was like 14.
37 now…still crying…what the boys had and have to experience for this greedy fkers up there is should never be the future…even if its present now
This just makes me hate people under 35.
A lot of people don’t realize that they repeatedly play s,o,s at the end 9:15 , there is so many thing layered over it that it’s hard to hear it
Hi… check the new version of this song ft apocalyptica… this is masterpiece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rg80u-TMNeE
Would like to see your reaction to their song, Unforgiven. I think it speaks to how many of us feel.
Unplug me!!!@!!!@@@@@
“I’m in a metal band and I’m not a huge Metallica fan”, didn’t know this was possible
Metallica actually purchased the rights to the movie for $300,000.00 so they could use all the footage
Ok, let’s analyze the song, but let the metal guy who doesn’t like Metallica talk over one of the most important section of lyrics.
The reality of this for some plus the imagination of many is inconsolable.
That being said. The ability and skill level of the instrumentalists in depicting such things is admirable.
Interestingly is the lighter parts of the music compared to the eternal hope within mankind of something better. For me it relates to hope in God and release from the awakening hell he comes to every day at 5:07 As an escape
Interesting also is the psyche that a father would send his son to this hell based on a political position that shows how people can be led to such atrocities against another.
One is incredible. That being said, plenty of bands go hard with some pretty good stuff pre-one. To say nobody was rocking this hard prior to one just means these people hadn’t heard early to mid eighties metal. Slayer, anyone?
everybody can have their own interpretation, but i feel that ‘one’ means alone, not unique… he’s one, he’s alone
Metallica bought the righta to the movie " Johnny get your gun ’ it’s a good song
10:25 no they werent really doing that in general, metallica however even bought the movie rights, in order to avoid paying future royalties and stuff, (Before Releasing the video)
Metallica has a bunch of songs that has story behind it like Madter of Puppets, Fade to Black
If you haven’t already, read the book “johnny got his gun”
