Therapist analyzes the lyrics of Even Flow by Pearl Jam to talk about how when we are in a place of deep struggle the best thing we can do is allow the ebb and flow, to actually chase away our thoughts like butterflies, and when it’s hard for us to do so, and we struggle to hold onto the “someday” we can listen to this song and use it to help us find hope.

#pearljam

Omg. Nutshell please…

This song is 100% about a homeless man Eddie knew, and was friends with.
But as it does, life happened. Eddy realized he had not not seen this person in months.
Asking around, he found out this person died many months earlier.

You will need lyrics for every Pearl Jam song

Great song, also you should make a reaction to welcome to the family: avenged sevenfold

Eminem and Jelly Roll, somebody save me please. Its a tear jerker

Pearl Jam - Black the MTV Unplugged version

Black (unplugged), by Pearl Jam, please…
We all need your react…
Congratulations for your channel and salutes from Brazil…

For another song about homelessness, check out “Who Cares Wins” by Anthrax. It takes a pretty hard look at it.

The Ghost of Tom Joad by Rage Against the Machine.

Love your reactions!..

Pearl Jam Jeremy music video

Yea you will have to do Jeremy by them. The unedited video. Be…warned however. It’s heavy. And disturbing.

Steezus, he shreds away our sins. :pray:t5:

ok you HAVE to react to Jeremy by Pearl Jam now

“Jeremy” official 4k video

Love this reaction. Check out Pearl jam do the evolution

This was what a rock concert felt like back in the day.
A vibrant, relentless, unhinged explosion of energy, without trigger warnings or people getting upset because the lights were too purple, without douchebags with their phones up and blocking the view.
Those were the days.

Wait until you listen to Jeremy. Really wanna see your reaction to that song!

So great you got around to Pearl Jam, Taylor! Usually people start with Black as reaction videos, but I like the change up. Most of Ten is about mental health issues, Black, like you mentioned about getting over a break up, Alive and Deep about family issues, etc. But then others are about sadness and death in other albums like Sad, The End, Light Years, etc. When you say Evenflow is a guide book, welcome to PJ! :grinning: Hence there are many hard core fans out here (like me) that continue to come back (mind the pun) to every album and sing along and still learn from every song. The layers of lyrics, music, melodies, sounds, but then the poetry and pure art, but the cherry is Eddie’s voice. Long live pj! Great job on this video, and thanks!
