Therapist Reacts to Slipknot Vermilion pt 2

Maggot forever :metal:

Interesting… if you start the premise that the voice is a serial killer, it really becomes very interesting.

I love your input on Slipknot songs…… I wish you were here to us all decades ago

This pair of songs always makes me think of the stages of bipolar syndrome. Pt.1 is Mania, Pt. 2 is Depression. First he wants her at all costs, second he believes he can NEVER have her.

Yapper of the year…

You are soooooo beautiful and cute and sweet let’s be FRIENDS :tada::tada:

@heartsupport I feel like I have negative emotions that are too big for my body, and it was hard to hear this reaction without experiencing them

I think she hit it on point

You should look into more mudvayne songs when you have time. Love your content though.

Wow we heard very different things in this song. Good for you :joy:

I would Love to see you react to Purity… The song that got pulled off their self titled album.HANDSONMYFACEOVERBEARINGICANTGETOUT

I think this about his ex l think her name was scarlet for the color red (vermilion) who left him for another rockstar before slipknot blew up sad!

Try purity it is one of the darkest slipknot songs ever!

She is a fantasy but she is also based on a real woman…

In this one she is dead killed by him. She is covered in all his shame the torment and the pain! He kills her.

She seems dressed in all of me
Stretched across my shame
All the torment and the pain
Leaked through and covered me
I’d do anything to have her to myself
Just to have her for myself
Now I don’t know what to do
I don’t know what to do
When she makes me sad
She is everything to me
The unrequited dream
A song that no one sings
The unattainable
She’s a myth that I have to believe in
All I need to make it real is one more reason
I don’t know what to do
I don’t know what to do
When she makes me sad
But I won’t let this build up inside of me
But I won’t let this build up inside of me
But I won’t let this build up inside of me
But I won’t let this build up inside of me
I catch in my throat
Choke
Torn into pieces
I won’t, no
I don’t want to be this
But I won’t let this build up inside of me
(Won’t let this build up inside of me)
I won’t let this build up inside of me
(Won’t let this build up inside of me)
I won’t let this build up inside of me
(Won’t let this build up inside of me)
I won’t let this build up inside of me
(Won’t let this build up inside of me, won’t let this build up inside of me)
She isn’t real
(Won’t let this build up inside of me)
I can’t make her real
(Won’t let this build up inside of me)
She isn’t real
(Won’t let this build up inside of me)
I can’t make her real
(Won’t let this build up inside of me)

Take, everything the therapist said. Everything. Now, substitute everytime she says “girl,” with “drink.”

Now, relisten.

The love and hope it can fix… “she isnt real, i cant make her real.” That hurts more than the actual addiction.

It’s more melodic and more harmonious and Corey did a live version for this too love how Corey did this even in acoustic that’s why I love how mental bands are doing this

Using the word like multiple times made it hard for me to listen to you. I am a therapist myself. The sound is similar as well. I play, also many different instruments. The instrumental is close.
