I usually get pissed off or just laugh when people try to break down soad songs because usually it’s so far off but you do a really good job understanding and breaking them down… the best part of soad is the open for interpretation and one day you could feel a certain type of way about a song then the next day relate it to something completely different… but I think you definitely relate to what they might have felt or experienced while expressing their music… but I definitely think it means more to us then what it means to them when pple want an explanation about what they are talking about … but you are very intelligent and I enjoy listening to your breakdowns on the music!!

Damn your interpretations are tripping me out. I’m a musician so I just normally get off on the music and all that, but holy shite your on the spot interpretations of the lyrics are blowing my mind all over the place. Not my area of expertise at all and it’s totally getting me. Great job.
I like this interpretation of the song, but personally this song always hit me as a song about self reflection and growth through acceptance.

wow she is amazingly good! I read from someone else that the kid in the video is lost in imagining a better life for himself. He fails at letting his imaginings go and never really makes it to the higher level of consciousness, but we can.
