why do drugs when you can listen to Pink Floyd?
All-time epic band. This is a live performance with no enhancements or auto-tune. Imagine being there - this kind of concert is very rare nowadays.
One of my favorite PF songs.
love ren also pink floyd lol try Mother live from pink floyd very deep
The mere thought of having their entire catalogue before you, unheard, makes me so happy for you. What a journey - I hope you choose to take it.
sometimes when you look at the light it hurts your eyes … and if you cannot extinguish the light, all you can do is close them.
I just found your channel and watched your reaction. You say more without speaking than the great majority of humanity.
no roger waters = no pink floyd
If you notice the crowd (at every performance of this song), they are all in deep personal reflection and reverence at the same time. No one is moving externally, but internally it is a whirlwind of thoughts and feelings.
“I don’t need no drugs to calm me”
whom ever listens to Pink Floyd once never forgets it because its not just music it is a real feeling an experience thanks for giving into it
oh sorry but i forgot, look at how many people there are and how they don’t even move or dare not make a sound just as if they were all in a transy state of mind. That is something you don’t see anywhere but in a concert of that time.
#1 Guitar Solo of all time… #2 Lenny Kravitz, “Believe”, his guitarist Craig.
It’s so funny to see all these supposed reaction videos with all their title now a therapist
Just found your channel and really enjoyed your reactions so far. It’s so satisfying to see someone who feels the music and understands the meaning of the songs like you do. Keep up the good work. Your new subscriber.
Having watched many first reactions to this epic tune, this is the worst. over anylizing it to fit her views on today’s dysfunctional society. And getting the basic research wrong, It wasn’t Roger Waters experience. it was David Gilmour, whose experience as a sick child was remembered when he as given a drug by a doctor so he could perform a show as an adult in Pink Floyd.
you should watch the wall movie .
You really need to hear this whole album beginning to end and follow the lyrics …it’s all about one man’s descent into madness, isolation, and cutting himself off from the world.
All Pink Floyd versions are like religious experiences, you float when you here this song. I wish i could relive the experience of hearing it for the first time.
When I was younger listening to this song was to numb oneself to a world that I thought I didn’t necessarily fit into . This as is a lot of songs can be interpreted in many ways to many folks, that is the beauty of melodies everyone gets something.
This version of David’s guitar solo (from the 1994 “Pulse” concert at Earls Court in London) is widely regarded as the best solo in the history of R&R specifically because the emotional response it evokes from the listener. The staggering life and death story told by David’s guitar would not have nearly the emotional resonance without the perfect base line chord progression. True artists.
She had no idea what she was getting in to.
It kills me people close their eyes and miss all the lights that enhance the musical experience.
This is real music played by real musicians not done with computer generated noise like most stuff these days.
Pink Floyd songs tell a story and take you on a journey within yourself and brings you back feeling better.
Pink Floyd was an experience and you missed a lot of it when you had your eyes closed but thats ok you were feeling emotion which is what music is supposed to do.
PF was the best of the best and there was no one else like them and never will be.
