Therapist analyzes the lyrics of Nero Forte to encourage people to externalize their depression. Once the depression is externalized it is easier to understand and fight against. We can fight and conquer the things that we understand. In that way the lyrics “That’s what I do best” become a rallying cry to encourage yourself “That’s what I do best, I overcome this enemy”.

I listen to slipknot everyday more now than what I use to. I have been off work since middle of December with depression. Since then I’ve been sent to counciling and had my antidepressants boosted and I still don’t see a change for the better
