Therapist, Taylor Palmby, introduces another therapist, Olivia Saleh, to Chop Suey by System of a Down for the first time! They discuss how the sound of the song oscillates between chaos and mourning and also how it oscillates between trying to cover up one’s own pain and being upset when their pain goes unnoticed by others.

New metalhead being born.

The best reaction Channel actually. Thank you! Please try Dogs by Pink Floyd

The whole One X album from tHree days grace… t

Someone gotta do a Couch Reaction channel where 3-4 people who usually watch movies or comedy, Show them Metal and Goth and Emo and all sorts of music… to open their eyes and also therapy themselves without much mediation or therapist walking in to moderate. Just 3-4 people who can react and open up, and be honest… did you like the song? What do you get out of Goth. Or Jazz? or any other Genre? and how can it heal your trauma or … your soul? …I also think there should be a new band like System out there to Shake up! Wake up the masses and talk about small scale genocides and talk about generational trauma and sell a band to the world “We can Save it” we gotta make the inactivity of Governments who do nothing to help other world issues out and eliminate Terror and Trauma. a new Metal SOAD or My Chemical Romance to save all the people and forgive and not FORGET our angels who did NOT deserve to die. I got ideas for channels to react and also to be active to do something about something like Therapy for PTSD or even for a community of people like the Armenians, the Israelites and many others… in strife whenever they have to Relocate and Immigrate to USA or Europe. there is Work to do! I love the. channel you guys do good work.

You should check out Aggressive Steven by Aesop Rock!

Show her Jinjer - Pisces.

I totally dig the reactions. It’s cool watching you watch her reactions, too. Cool channel, great message, always entertaining! As I always do…screaming Motionless in White, Thoughts and Prayers! Be easy!!

Was it me that started the bring back team LIV chant? It’s Round 2 with her and we’re here for it! :fire::call_me_hand:t5:

Your joy and reactions was my exact reaction when you were discovering Tool. Stinkfist? For her next reaction?

I always assumed the “Father why have you forsaken me?” was from the Gospel of Matthew, rather than the Psalm that you referred to, it was when Jesus is on the cross and yells, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” Many people call God the Father, and I think the whole martyrdom tie in fits with the songs message, but that’s just my opinion.

Check out Serj on Last Meals (Mythical Kitchen). just a cool down to earth dude

I absolutely love these Taylor shares with Olivia episodes!! Love love love

it’s fun to see reactors get why we watch reactions

Usually Taylor has all the crazy facial expressions (Which I love), but this time she could not stop smiling the entire time. It’s fun to see people experiencing the music you love for the first time.

It’s from the gospel of Luke 23:46 when Jesus is in the cross. He says “father into your hands I comend my spirit… Father why have you forsaken me?”

hahaha u being so hype watching her hahahaha nice!

Please Please please do a Circa Survive video :pray::pray:

You two are a wacky lot  And watching Taylor having this slightly mischievous smile while glancing at Liv’s reactions… priceless.
And on top of that your insight on the mental health side of things and how things (might) relate. nice. Please more. its important.

As I understand it, the song was about the coin flip of public sentiment both before and after a celebrity dies, similar to The Chaser’s “Eulogy Song”.
