Therapist analyzes the lyrics to Judith by a Perfect Circle to discuss the journey that Maynard has gone through in his grieving process. This song is a gift for anyone who is in the anger stage of their grief and has more questions than they have answers. Tool has been creating music long enough for us to see that this feeling is a point in the journey.

First uowww you so pretty and smart keep with more Mayanaard.

Fuck Josh Freese is such a good drummer.

Most badass part is when Paz puts her hair up.

Maynard’s anger on full display.

Oh yea 5 mins ago…

Paz tying her hair up is still stupidly hot.

My name is human by Highly Suspect. You will love it!!

Supposedly and I have not confirmed this but apparently this is the only song in the entire album that has the one and only explicit word in it. So I thought that was interesting.

The bassist also plays the violin. I highly recommend you listen to A Perfect Circle “3 Libras.” That bassist is extremely talented. She ended up leaving, but A Perfect Circle had a few members do that, including James Iha (ended up coming back.) They’re considered many to be a “Super Group.” The drummer in this song (Josh Freese) is now the drummer for Foo Fighters!

Ahh… 1:57 The day I put down toys and went from a boy to a man. I remember this moment in time. That hair tie-up is imprinted…

In 10,000 days when he is talking about hypocrites, he is talking about the other members of the church keep up the great reactions!!

Its funny how the line in the Bible is “judge not” and half those who believe took it to mean “judge”. Musicians like Tool, PC, Sabbath etc got the line and were labelled “satanic” for it.

Gotta hear Jimmy…

Thank you for your reactions. Can I suggest you round out your Maynard experience with a Puscifer reaction? Oceans or Tumbleweed are (I believe) also about Judith Marie.

Finally a sentiment I can get behind…“F%ck Your God!”

Their drummer is ridiculous (Josh Freese). He’s the drummer for Foo Fighters now, but he’s played with the likes of Sting, Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, Sublime, and many more!

Saw the FFDP wrong side of heaven video.
They redid Gone away—originally done by offspring.
It’s also focused on veterans and mental health. Would love to see a reaction to that

i was waiting to see this one.

Horizons by Puscifer is the headstone in the Judith songs. It breaks me. But the closure from Judith to Horizons is breathtaking.
