FFDP has been a big supporter of our veterans and active duty troops. This song is a tear jerker. It came out right around the time we lost my cousin to PTSD.

I just wanted to pop in a like… I can’t take this song… like Metallica’s One, Dire Straights Brothers in Arms and a few others…it just brings back too many terrible memories.

Newer subscriber here, just want to say i really appreciate your reaction videos. Much of the music you react to is stuff i enjoy listening to already, and possibly even more important is that i can relate to some of the messaging these songs put out. The insight from a therapist, more so a young therapist closer to my own age, makes for a very enjoyable watch.

i come from a long line of vets and haven’t served myself you fought for our freedom and i hurt knowing that we don’t look after those who gave us this freedom! to every vet out there know we will never forget you and we thank you every day for the freedom you have given us!

I love this song, and the visuals tell such a story. As a veteran I definitely feel overlooked and feel helpless and hopeless. This video makes me cry like a baby every time I watch it

A lot of our modern world is based upon exploiting good people. If you are willing to sacrifice for others or a cause, you are the target audience. Military service is the epitome of that, like the song starts with, to be willing to fight is to care deeply. The exploitation of that love is what breaks people
